Well, here it is, my first journal entry.

My life has been relatively uneventful as of late. It's sort of a poor time to begin keeping a journal, but I see it as an important and staple part of being one with the Deviant Art community.

I'm currently trying for two goals:

Firstly, because I was not accepted into my college of choice, I am applying to a small number of rolling admission colleges for my first year. I plan to transfer to Boston College my sophomore year to continue my studies. I know that my GPA and SAT scores are high enough; I must simply show that I can continue to work hard my freshman year.

Secondly, although I regretfully could not exempt my Physics exam, due to factors that I truly believe were out of my control, I do plan to work to exempt my Honors Calculus exam. That exam would be, for me, a dark blow to my grade. Thankfully, all I need to do is make up three assignments this week.

These are the only recent events in my life. When I can, I try to relieve my stress through games and drawing. My friends are a big part of my life.

Good luck with that man. You rock pretty hard in drawing.

Thanks. I appreciate the complement. I cherish every one I get as a new Deviant. It's hard wondering how I'm going to build myself up as an artist. I have all the room I need here on DA... Now just to formulate a plan.

Pfft! Easier said than done, right? A friend of mine is helping me learn coloring. If I can get that, I'll be on the right track.

Well its good to know your scores are high enough! I am sure you can show them just how hard you can actually work.

Ha, I do not think I exempted any of my exams...sadly. Oh well. Since I have not did to well this year I am even very willing to repeat the year without it bothering me. I shall just try even harder next year and devote most of my time to school work.

The more you work on the drawings the better you seem to get. Heck, I am certain that you could do even more fabulous at coloring. At least...your better at shading and coloring than me. Its epic fail for moi. Not that I mind. We all have things we are not good at.

Pixels are actually what I started getting very into because oddly enough I am okay at them. Of course the ones I have submitted right now on Deviantart are not that good but I will send in better ones later once I get GIMP back.

Er, anyways...I hope you reach your goals to the point where you are satisfied. As I have mentioned before you will go very far in life. I am sure of it. Your drawing skills are still so utterly amazing. I just love looking at them.

Did you recieve info from colleges that like your interests or did you send away for them?

I'm glad you got to exempt some of your exams, hopefully so can I.

And the drawings.... perfection. If you haven't been paid for a picture you should. Put some of your pictures as prints and people can get them on t-shirts and stuff. (They'll but them!!) It's soo cool! You don't have to of course.

You know, you inspired me to get better at drawing.
